This has been tried and it didn’t work. Oscar and Felix tried this ( barnacle glue) on season 4 episode 13, and found once moisture is absent, the glue eventually fails. This is proof enough for me. I’ll stick with 2 part epoxy.
But first! You have to thermo set your resin.

I agree glue is useful but welding will always be the best bonding solution for metal because a proper weld is stronger or as strong as the material welded
