Vitamin D has a huge impact on the health and function of your cells. Among its many functions, vitamin D reduces cellular growth (which promotes cancer) and improves cell differentiation (which puts cells into an anti-cancer state). But what’s even more fascinating is how vitamin D regulates and controls genes. When we don’t get enough it impacts every area of our biology, because it affects the way our cells and genes function.
Your body makes vitamin D when it’s exposed to sunlight. The problem is that most of us aren’t exposed to enough sunlight or eating enough of the few natural dietary sources of vitamin D. The good news is that supplementing with vitamin D3 can be an effective way to reverse a vitamin D deficiency. However, it is important to test your vitamin D levels to assess your personalized needs before starting any supplementation.

Mayo Clinic recommends that adults get at least the RDA of 600 IU. However, 1,000 to 2,000 IU per day of vitamin D from a supplement is generally safe, should help people achieve an adequate blood level of vitamin D, and may have additional health benefits.
Latest research recommends increasing the daily safe limit to 10 000 IU’s a day.

@H D I believe that…..I get 10L IU’s per day….serum levels around 68 (in the US) when last checked.
@David Cottrell I’m self administering without supervision so I stick to 4000-5000 IU’s which is also the older safe upper limit.. still the difference it makes is remarkable
Alot more Physicians are giving their patients the “D Hammer” Some Doctors are giving 50,000iu ONE ☝️ Daily For 3 Days. One ☝️ 15-30mg Zinc Chelate For 3 Days And Adding N-Acetyl Cysteine 1,200mg ONE ☝️ In Morning and ONE ☝️ In The Evening For 3 Days. The Research on this Protocol was done using the deadly Avian H5N1 Flu, among other both Viral and Bacterial Infections. There were patients in Bombay and Mumbai who were so sick they were ready to Intubate the patients. This Protocol was used on a number of Patients both young and old, the recovery was documented within 48-72 hours, complete resolution. It was found the Vitamin D taken for this Protocol stayed in the body approximately 75.5 days. This is surely something that should be looked at and more Peer Review is needed. The good thing noted in research studies was the patients avoided the Cytokine Storm, and subsequent Epithelial damage associated with micro clotting. Very interesting Protocol for those getting sick has shown promise in 3 days.

Zink is also a good thing to take every day
Yes. I’ve been talking alot about Zinc at the shop now too.
Zinc stimulates metallothionein, which binds up copper 1000 times more than zinc. Ceruloplasmin-bound copper is the most sophisticated enzyme in the human body. Too much zinc can suppress complex 4 in the mitochondria, can suppress the iron recycling system (leading to iron overload in their tissues), can suppress the immune system, and suppress all the various cupro-enzymes in the human body. YT “Morley Robbins” for recent interviews.
@Wellness Path For Me yup…not too much zinc….say, 40 mg…and take with quercetin….
This video is needed right now! So many people are asking me about Vitamin D at the shop these days.
Cholecalciferol is one of the most potent mouse and rat poisons on the market. When ingested in toxic amounts, cholecalciferol, or activated vitamin D3, can cause life-threatening elevations in blood calcium and left untreated can result in kidney failure.
BEWARE prevent your clients that it needs to be taken with Mg and K2.
Would you comment some of the best vitamin D brand.
The sun on a magnesium replete body. Sulfated D is the best form of D, and only the sun can create it. Quality sardines. Raw milk. The key is to get a reliable test. Low storage D (calcidiol, 25D) is NOT a reliable test. They don’t typically even check the active D level, yet low storage D has been shown to be associated with high active D, sometimes 4 and 5 times higher, in some people. Isn’t that important to know?

I get outside every day, often twice a day. It’s important to connect with nature, and much nicer than taking a tablet. You don’t need hours in the sun, just half an hour or so.
For magnesium, I take hot baths with Epsom salt. Personally, I don’t trust supplements. Who knows what’s actually in them?
Make sure you’re checking the STORED form of D 1,25 not the circulating form of D 25. I lived in Alaska and never supplemented, I use cod liver oil and a FDA approved light.
“Vitamin” D is a hormone and comonly used for poisining rats and mice
It made a huge difference for me especially in the winter up here in Canada
Hello Canada! Please tell me how vitamin D help with your health. Thank you!
Rubbish! Vegan D3 is readily available NON GMO and certified organic. What planet are you guys living on. And do not supplement until you have been tested. Don’t forget to test mid winter.
Which kind of magnesium helps vitamin D absorption?
Also would vitamin D shots shorten that time to get to optimal levels?
I take 10,000 IU daily with K2
I got eczema and bone problems supplementing with vitamin D. Magnesium and boron seems to help both problems however not completely. I suppose I was causing vitamin imbalances while supplementing with D – a good reason to be careful with mega doses of D.
PS I read a while back that Boron helps to prevent vitamin D deficiency by recycling D or some such thing.
PS2 Was that B vitamins or D vitamin that was supposed to help with cheilosis?
Vitamin D3 is also rat poison.
Too much vitamin d3 will release enormous amount of calcium from your bones into your bloodstream thus destroying your organs.
Tell the whole story vitakin D3 is to be taken with K2 and Magnesium to be used up properly.
