Special Episode – Medicine In The Age Of COVID-19 And Beyond

It’s natural to have a lot of questions right now. COVID-19 has quickly changed the way we think about health and go about our daily lives. And though we still have a lot to learn about the novel coronavirus, there are also a lot of ways we can keep ourselves, our families, and our communities strong and healthy.

I recently hosted a webinar, along with the doctors at The UltraWellness Center, Elizabeth Boham, George Papanicolaou, and Todd LePine to answer some of the most important questions about COVID-19. If you missed it, I am sharing it here as a special episode of my podcast, The Doctor’s Farmacy.

4. The importance of social distancing and how long we will need to implement this strategy

  1. No way you can compare South KOREA to America. Their population is at least a fourth of us. Not freedoms we have. Demands on their people that we would never respond too. WE will have a vaccine or treatment before 18 months. Mark don’t be such a Donny downer! I appreciate and value your good health suggestions. I have greatly changed my eating and exercise habits. HOPEFULLY this will keep me well for A very long time. Thank-you for keeping us well informed.

  2. @14:30 bs about sugar addiction. To stop consuming sugar has nothing to do with motivation, sugar is more addictive than heroine, the body is a chemical factory, those with sugar addiction have no doubt a Candida overgrowth, Candida is a yeast which feeds on sugar and sends sugar craving signals to the brain via molecular pathways, those cravings are extremely difficult to fight. Doctors who work with alcoholics (sugar addiction b/c alcohol is sugar) advise their patients to put some L-glutamine powder under the tongue to curb the sugar craving. Once a patient has been given this tool, then they can transition to a sugar free diet, cut out sugar, alcohol, soft drinks, fruit (except berries, they are low in sugar), cut out dairy (sugar) and use alternative milk (almond, coconut etc), yogurt and ice cream, even make their own at home, and use vegan cheeses or make their own. Grains can be substituted too, wheat flour can be substituted by almond, coconut, tigernut, sorghum, cassava flours (all on amazon). You can make pizza out of cauliflower instead of wheat flour, you can use the alternative flours to make your own pasta, to bake, instead of sugar/honey/syrup you can use stevia with no additives (on amazon) b/c many sugars added to stevia powder cause gastrointestinal problems. You will probably need to limit beans. Rice can be substituted with sorghum grains. Ice cream can be made from coconut milk, berries and stevia, you can make your own chocolate (coconut oil, stevia, cacao powder, vanilla and another extract of your choice (raspberry, strawberry, lemon, orange, peppermint, almond etc) search for Keto chocolate recipe online, you can make your own jello/gummy bears (water, stevia, gelatin, berries). There are many Keto recipes, Paleo recipes, there are also interesting Raw Food recipes although they are not sugar free, you have to re-make them. There are herbal teas you can also drink cold, with ice and stevia in the warmer times of the year. There are even recipes for your own homemade sugar free candy! I am on a sugar free diet due to Candida caused by chemo therapy for cancer, and I don’t miss anything. Cooking is fun!

Re the virus, to make your immune system stronger take liquid liposomal vit C (on amazon or make your own, youtube videos show how to, take 1 tbsp in morning, 1 at night, 1 hr away from food), for the elderly take also liposomal glutathione, then vit D3, zinc picolinate (high absorption), selenium, vit E, vit A palmitate, magnesium, herbs such as garlic, turmacin (better form of turmeric), echinacea, herbal Mullein tea for sore throat and lungs. One day water fast (read upon it or watch Dr Bergman or Dr Edward Group yt videos), cold showers (there is a technique to it, start warm, go to hot, then go down to cold in steps, in a few days you will appreciate it and long for it), also breathing exercises (holding breath), guided exercise with Wim Hof, health guru from the Netherlands, in English on yt.

Re one day water fasting to beat the virus:
