  1. Hi Kino, at your advanced level of practice, do you feel the serpent power that Yoga articles often talk about? Just curious. Thank you. 😀

  2. Love all your videos!! I wanted to ask what kind of camera do you use to make these? I want to start to film my progress. I’m fairly new to yoga and want to show what daily practice can do.

  3. It took my about 2 years of diligent practice (5 days a week) to go from zero (couldn’t touch my toes) to doing kurmasana, supta kurmasana with the transitions. After about 2.5 years it’s still a bit ugly but it’s slowly getting stronger.

I’ve known someone who could do this after only 6 months but that’s VERY unusual. Kino can probably speak to what is most typical, if there is such a thing.

  4. My experience is the same as yours 5x pweek for 3 years, and this is what I say – your teacher obviously knows and respects the mysore system; our bodies unfold in their own timing if we have no grasping at what ‘comes next’ we just need to surrender and be grateful, and trust that all is coming to be on track. Namaste.

  5. I can perform the asana but whenever I try to lift up I experience tight pain around my sternum, like my chest is about to explode.

  6. I have one leg longer than the other and this gives me a curve and my lower spine clicks to one side sometimes and my right butt cheek is smaller .. do you have suggestions? Im posting on this vid but Im actually doing your core strength vids at the mo 🙂 Beautiful by the way
