We’re utilizing so much of our land growing food we’re not eating, such as, the production of ethanol —40% of our farmland goes to growing ethanol. It takes a gallon of oil to make a gallon of ethanol. And all the inputs that go into making ethanol only make it worse for the environment, for example, the nitrogen that is used is killing our rivers.
